The SIG SAUER MCX is a highly modular platform. You can turn it into a “Short Barrel Rattler” and back into a “Reece Rifle” in like no time. The possibility to carry multi-caliber ammunition as well lots of accessories to customize it to your mission needs, makes this rifle a special one in modern day pewpew business. I’m personally a big fan of it and NO, it’s not just another M4… if you ask me!
The SIG AIR MCX VIRTUS is like its real steel counterpart highly modular (see our SUR300/SRD762 build here) and thanks to the 1:1 reproduction, most of the real steel parts fit the airsoft replica as well. If you won’t invest the “BIG money”, the airsoft industry has you covert. My favorite brand when it comes down to the SIG stuff is Airsoft Artisan. Workmanship and quality is on point and the available part list is huge!
SEK MCX VIRTUS
For this Boomstick Porn presentation, I’ve chosen a setup I saw the other day in use by a SEK (SpezialEinsatzKommando or SonderEinsatzKommando) operator during a raid somewhere in Germany. This rifle setup is current a “WIP” and some of the parts such as the Unity Tactical FAST mounts and the Griffin backup sights are added by myself as I run them on my other rifles as well. I’m pretty sure, these mounts will find their way into the German Law Enforcement units some day or maybe already did but we just haven’t seen pictures in public yet. Time will tell…
NOTE: Always respect the people in uniform! They stand for you, me our loved once and friends so don’t be a dick! When you reenact, do it smart and don’t blame anyone!!
