You gotta love to wear those Ripstop Cargo Joggers
Pleasantly, I came across QILO some time ago as they got introduced to me by a good friend from the tactical gear industry. Since then, I always kept my eye out about their releases and designs which are for sure “unique” and limited editions what makes it even harder to get a piece of it!
If you follow our blog for some time, I bet you saw some of their stuff posted already.
For those who don’t know them, QILO is a stateside based tactical streetwear brand located in the New York area.
But back to the Ripstop Cargo Jogger. I ordered mine with their P42 Frogskin Beach Camo Pattern drop the end of 2021 which is SOLD OUT already.
I like this old school pattern (used by the USMC primary on the Pacific Theater during WWII) and I like casual, comfortable clothing so I decided to grab a pair and give them a try.
OUT OF THE BOX
They just look & feel great! I’m glad that I decided to order them in! During the past winter months, those Joggers became my favorite pair of pants (I ordered the Beach version too) while staying at home and moving around.
“Those are damn comfortable!”
The second-generation of QILOs Cargo Jogger got some major upgrades to their previous version in regards to its material and function the company said.
For example, the new gen is constructed from a 2-way horizontal stretch ripstop fabric, allowing for increased mobility and durability.
This new shell fabric (in combination with the interior mesh lining which feels very comfortable on your skin) also result in a warmer pant for the fall/winter season, effectively breaking the wind and insulating body heat for colder conditions.
The Ripstop Cargo Jogger offers its wearer in total 6 pockets to store or “hide” small items.
Two mid-sized cargo-pockets, two front and a single back pocket are YKK-Zippered – offering you the feature to be closed completely to keep your essentials well stored inside.
If you want to hide something, there’s a secret stash compartment on the interior right underneath the elastic waistband. It’s a tiny one so make sure what you wanna store here but… shhh!
One thing missing around the waistband are the “belt loops” which you can find for example at their just released EDC Shorts. I really hope that the following versions from the Ripstop Joggers have these include too!! You gonna make it work QILO,… you know why!
The pant itself is tapered cut towards the elastic ankle bands providing a casual modern yet sportive look. Pair it with some classy shoes or flip-flops if you like to. I guarantee you; you will stand out of the crowd for sure!
And hey, going to the range never felt more comfortable and looked cooler tho!
I’m looking forward to keep on running these Ripstop Cargo Jogger during the summer on as many daily events I can. Let’s see how these performance goes when the temperature increases.
