Canadian Special Operations Forces Command (CANSOFCOM; French: Commandement des Forces d’opérations spéciales du Canada; COMFOSCAN) is a command of the Canadian Armed Forces. It is responsible for all special forces operations that are capable of responding to terrorism and threats to Canadians and Canadian interests around the world.

CANSOFCOM is organized into a headquarters element and five units:

-Joint Task Force 2 (JTF2)

-Canadian Special Operations Regiment (CSOR)

-427 Special Operations Aviation Squadron (SOAS)

-Canadian Joint Incident Response Unit (CJIRU)

-Canadian Special Operations Training Centre (CSOTC)

Extras:

-Naval Tactical Operations Group The Naval Tactical Operations Group (NTOG) is a unit between 85 or 100 personnel (full time and reserve sailors) dedicated to conduct boarding on non-compliant vessels of interest. Training includes precision shooting, hand-to-hand combat, interrogation techniques, advanced medical skills, the planning of missions and identification of improvised explosive devices.
