Recent Border War 6 — The Sunseeker organised by the Border War Crew pushed forwards the benchmark of the Airsoft event organising.

 

1493484_884809804869018_2460867504442446598_oBorder War 6 — The Sunseeker held in Czech Republic in former Military area Ralsko took place during last weekend of April hosted players from 28 countries of the world. Participants undertook an 50 hour intensive day and night infantry MILSIM battle in very demanding weather.

Border War 6 pushed forward the limits of Border War 5 and again assured its position of the largest Airsoft and MILSIM 40+hours game operation in Czech Republic, Europe and as well in the word, proving it self as a benchmark in many aspects of Airsoft MILSIM event organising.

BW 6 hosted many historical vehicles and several helicopters for ingame insertion of more than 230 airmobile players directly to the heat of the battle, as well fortified bunkers, antitank obstacles, and many game locations built for the purpose of the event. A LARP city featured more than 30 building, and nearby fortified castle and was inhabited by more than 350 LARP characters enjoying their role-play integrated closely to the game scenario.

Cooperation with Authorities
Main partner of the event was this year for the second time Czech Army and Ministry of Defence of Czech Republic. Czech Army offered participants very interesting seminars and opportunity to discuss with professionals their experience from deployment. On spot 43. Airborne brigade allowed participants to check latest real steel weapons of the Czech Armed Forces, as well heavily armed Landrover Cayman was displayed. Participants were actively asking many questions and as well checking out weapons, taking pictures and trying out the vehicle. Chemical Engineers have shared their experiences from chemical warfare deployment allowing participants to understand dangers of biochemical warfare. Ministry of Defence shared with participant’s as well very nice exhibition about Czech Army with plenty of photographs, many posters and magazines participants took as the souvenirs with them.
