Airsoft Action – D-Day Special Edition!
OK – the next issue of Airsoft Action is winging its way to the printers.
The magazine goes on sale on the 5th June which, as many of you will know, was the date that OPERATION OVERLORD was supposed to be launched. It was delayed by the good old British weather and the Operation finally got under way on the 6th of June 1944 – D-Day.
This year is the 70th Anniversary of that momentousday and we could not just let it slip by without recognising that we still owe so much to those who fought and died. Through their “blood, sweat and tears” – and their lives – we now enjoy freedom that might have been lost forever had they not succeeded.
And so I hope you will appreciate the cover and while you read the magazine, maybe just pause for a few moments and remember those who fought for our way of life.
