On this years AUSA EXPO , Ceradyne (which is part of 3M because they purchased them last year) shows their new Defender “Ultra Light Weight Ballistic Bump Helmet” at the booth from 3M. This helmet leverages the technology they developed for the USMC’s Enhanced Combat Helmet program.
