Be Ready for the VCAS GTS (Green Tiger Stripe): A Brief History of Covert Design
While you wait for the limited edition release of the VCAS GTS (Green Tiger Stripe) Sling this Monday from Blue Force Gear, check out this exclusive content on the brief history of the tiger stripe pattern covert design.
One of today’s most favored and iconic patterns in the industry is now a prized item to be owned; Blue Force Gear and TFBTV have collaborated to bring the Tiger Stripe pattern to life in a limited edition VCAS and VCAS Push Button Sling.
ACU, God’s plaid–Woodland, Desert, MARPAT, A-TACS, Flecktarn, Multicam…there are many to choose from, but we cannot deny the love for Tiger Stripe. Originally derived from the French tenue du leopard or “lizard” design from the 1950s, the Tiger Stripe pattern came into the picture in the 1960s.
The design was inspired to blend with the jungles of Southeast Asia, more specifically the Republic of Vietnam.
