The advanced SureFire SFMB-556-1/2-28 muzzle brake, which fits M4 / M16 weapons and variants with 1/2-28 muzzle threads, greatly reduces both recoil impulse and muzzle rise so that the weapon tracks straight back to keep you on target for faster shot-to-shot recovery. Its patented Impulse Diffusion design minimizes side blast and rear-directed concussion effects. 7.62 mm (.308 Caliber) SOCOM Muzzle Brakes
There are four different type available of this muzzle break: SFMB-762-SR25 fits the Knight’s Armament SR-25 rifle, SFMB-762-M18X1.5 fits the Accuracy International AW and AWM rifles, SFMB-762-M18X1 fits the Sako TRG and Steyr SSG-08 rifles, SFMB-762-5/8-24fits the Armalite AR-10, DPMS LR308 and as all other variants 7.62 mm rifles with 5/8-24 muzzle threads.
