An upgrade for your M4
Based on SIG SAUERs Suppressed Upper Receiver Group (SURG) as currently delivered to US SOCOM units, BLK PEW Workshop just released these photos of an airsoft replica version for all of you into MilSim/Reenactment and of course, details.
The “real steel” SURG kit includes a piston-driven MCX upper receiver with detachable, rather than integral, suppressor. The FDE-coloured SURG kit also reportedly includes an MCX-pattern folding stock and 1917 picatinny adapter and so does the airsoft version too.
US SOCOM is set to award SIG SAUER another 5 year contract to provide these SURG Kits by the way so, if you think to update your BB Blaster with it, this might could be a good idea to match current and future SOF Kits.
There’s no release date set right now so we actually have to wait for more details. Our friends at WMASG also have an article up on the web (unfortunately only in Polish) but they promised an english version from the article to be released soon too.
