Guardians of the Skies
The FIM-92 Stinger is a short-range, man-portable air defense system. Designed to protect Marines and allied troops when forward deployed, the Stinger eliminates the immediate need for air support against enemy aircraft.
Providing air defense for light infantry platoon-sized elements during missions and “outside the wire” operations, the Stinger ensures Marines can defend themselves from aerial attacks while maintaining the mobility essential for their missions.
