The Schmidt & Bender 3-12×50 PM II has established itself as one of the most respected riflescopes among special forces around the world. A major highlight of the riflescope’s ongoing career was its use in the US-Marine Corps.
The Marines took 25 different riflescopes under intensive observation in a long-term test. The review lasted a full two years and took place without any disclosure or exchange with the manufacturers.
Of the 25 products, only one could survive all the tests and meet all the requirements: The 3-12×50 PM II. Following the test, it was finally put to use by the USMC.
