In the last week, we showed you the new HARAPGUS SOFTSHELL jacket in a review. Today we show you the new fleece hoodies with the name MILVAGO and AVICEDA.
MILVAGO FLEECE HOODY – OVERVIEW (Quality & Workmanship)
The fleece jacket Milvago made with 100% Polyester, to see here in the variant with the colour RAL7013, is the heavier version (710 g) of the two new fleece jackets by CLAW GEAR. Its designed to be worn as a top layer or as a middle layer.
The processing of the jacket is all top notch. Clean stitched bags with high quality zippers. The rest of the seams on the jacket are very well-finished as well. The whole new jacket product line is made with a lot of attention to detail. So you can find CLAW GEAR Logos on the edging tape and also at the zipper pulls.

In contrast to the other new jackets of CLAW GEAR, for the fleece hoodies there was no velcro used on the sleeves. Instead provide elastic cuffs for a good hold of the sleeve which also do not interfere when wearing a jacket over it.
MILVAGO FLEECE HOODY – COMPARTMENTS & FEATURES
Upper arm pockets with Velcro surfaces on both sides. Perfect for small items or a notepad.
Fitted with a two-way zip, the huge front pockets are always easily accessible and therefore Backpacking compatible. The use of the jacket with a Chest Rig is not possible as our friend from pinesurvey.com demonstrated.
Inside the pockets, we can find the integrated waist adjustment.
The hood has a drawstring which allows adjustment to the head.
As with all new jackets of CLAW GEAR, access for a headset is also built here in the left pocket.
Comfort & Feeling
The thick fleece outside and the rough teddy bear material warms up very well and keeps the coldest wind away. With 710g its not that heavy as expected and its very comfortable to wear! In contrast to many other fleece jackets the climate inside the jacket is very good even in sweaty activities.

AVICEDA FLEECE HOODY
The lightweight (410g) AVICEDA Fleece Jacket is ideal as a warming middle layer jacket. It’s basically from the modern cut, the same jacket as the thick brother MILVAGO with two hand pockets, two front pockets and all the other features.
The fundamental difference are the overall lightweight materials which where used in the manufacture. For example, the bags are made inside of lightweight but resistant mesh material.
Comfort & Feeling
The AVICEDA is well made, comfortable, lightweight and space-saving. Nothing more to say!
