The PLATATAC CRABS system is a modular & scalable system designed to be quickly adaptable to mission requirements. The HW base panel is the core of the system. Made from laser cut Ultracomp fabric, it is a lightweight and strong base.
An integrated Tegris panel provides an additional level of rigidness for scalability. A six column by four row PALS field provides room to mount ATAK, MFF Nav systems or other MOLLE-compatible pouches.
The CRABS v2 Base Panel is an open-top loop velcro lined base panel with front PALS area to attach in-service MOLLE compatible pouches, ATAK or MFF mounts.
The internal loop velcro allows multiple ammunition carriage options via Velcro in magazine inserts to carry up to 3 x M4 (or 3 x AK bullets up), 2 x 7.62 mags w/single pistol mag or 4 x 9mm sub gun.
The dual base panel allows extra load carriage or expanded admin options when combined with CRABS inserts.
