The Bundeswehr is now expected to field around 250,000 G95-series rifles — the G95A1 and G95KA1 — instead of the originally planned 118,718. Recent discussions in the Bundestag suggest the framework contract could climb past €800 million, a massive jump from the previous €275 million.
And that might just be the beginning: long-term estimates point to a potential total requirement of up to 500,000 G95 rifles across multiple variants.

A milestone comes today on December 4, when 300 G95/HK416A8 rifles will be handed over in Grafenwöhr to Panzergrenadier Battalion 122, making them the first unit to receive the new system.

The Radian Magazine Base Pad is a direct replacement part for G43X & G48 OEM magazines. The base pad adds weight to the bottom of the magazine which aids in dropping empty magazines. A larger grip surface allows users to index spare magazines from holsters for quicker reloads while also being able to easily extract a stuck magazine.
