Dog handlers, rescue specialists, and the veterinarian of Germany’s SOF (Kommando Spezialkräfte) came together for a Tactical Combat Casualty Care exercise.
Their mission?
- Sharpen lifesaving skills to protect service dogs under emergency combat conditions, including how to:
- Recognize and treat life-threatening injuries
- Apply bandages and tourniquets
- Safely transport the injured
Because in the field, a dog is more than a partner — it’s part of the team.
