Forest – Town – Firepower!
During the exercise Excellent Guardian 25, the soldiers of the 292nd Infantry Battalion from Donaueschingen trained for combat in forested and urban terrain.
Also taking part: the 5th Company with its heavy weapons.
The focus: live-fire exercises with the Wiesel weapons carrier and the use of 120 mm mortars in high-angle fire. These systems make a vital contribution to supporting the infantry on the battlefield—especially in scenarios involving national and collective defense.
