Firebolt – the interface that connects Carl-Gustaf® M4 with the Fire Control Device 558 and the HE 448 round. Putting advanced technology at forces’ fingertips.
The technology allows supported rounds to communicate the round type and propellant temperature to the FCD 558 and receives target data and fuze settings in return.
The FCD 558 then automatically calculates the ballistic settings based on these parameters, including ambient temperature and target distance, and sets up the trajectory for the operator.
