Recontoured into a patented (United States Patent Number: D901616) semi-clubfoot design, the Mod 2 is fits on Mil-Spec carbine receiver extensions, and optimized for intermediate length receiver extensions (MK2, AR10, A5). These improved lines also enhance shooting in the prone position while remaining snag free, with no edges to catch or tangle in slings, antenna, or other PPE.
The BCM Mod 2 Stock epitomizes unmatched performance in the realm of firearm accessories, integrating a patented internal latch system and an ambidextrous rotation-limited QD interface, alongside innovative features like an end-user removable buttpad. It enhances functionality with an improved VBOST (Vehicle Borne Operations Sling Tab) for superior sling retention during vehicle operations or discreet movements, and introduces a modular buttpad offering a choice between a rubberized surface for traditional light infantry operations and a solid, diamond-textured non-slip surface for optimal high-ready weapons manipulation.
Additionally, it includes two extra web sling attachment slots and the VBOST system, which offers multiple positions for retention bands, facilitating sling storage in an “S-folded” configuration critical for vehicular deployment or low-visibility scenarios, thus providing versatility and reliability in critical situations.
