The H.A.R.C.S. is a hypothermia active re-warming CASEVAC system. The Mini Resuce II Blanket/Pad is a Class II FDA approved medical device that provides continuous temperature delivery from 98.6°F to 105°F. The lightweight and portable design of APLS Thermal Guard L1 enables first responders and medical personnel to quickly transport injured personnel in one package. The H.A.R.C.S. deployment bag is constructed of an air/water tight polyurethane laminate with 840 Denier Cordura®, the same material used in rafts and conforms to NAVSEA Certification for submarine operations. When packed out with the H.A.R.C.S. system, it is compact and jumpable and can be worn on belt, mounted to a boat gunnel, or inside a helicopter.
