New contract for Galvion
Galvion has secured its third order for Batlskin Caiman helmets under Canada’s Dismounted Infantry Capability Enhancement programm. There are now 15,000 helmets on order or in service with the Canadian light infantry.

The Dismounted Infantry Capability Enhancement initiative is a collaborative effort involving various Canadian defence directorates. It has conducted trials to evaluate helmet and modular fighting rig options for light infantry. The Galvion helmet was selected following user trials in operational scenarios.
